We redesigned our pre-approval flow that we were seeing a significant decline in customer Personally Identifiable Information (PII) collection. Through reorganization, the addition of interstitial screens, increased social proofs, and personalized elements, we transformed our pre-approval flow into a captivating user experience. To efficiently close the identified functional and design gaps, we prioritized speed of delivery, ensuring that the plan was designed for implementation within weeks rather than months.

This new design resulted in a remarkable 52% increase in phone number collection, which was statistically significant. Additionally, we were able to achieve a 35% improvement in completing the pre-application process.
